What do those medals mean?

I'm sure most of you have noticed medal-like icons appearing next to
some tutors' profiles.
Here's what they mean.

 Premium

Awesome tutors who have proven their knowledge, skill and enthusiasm.
They are in very high demand so book fast!

 Top Ranking

Trusted, popular tutors with good reviews and many lessons under their
belts. May be harder to reserve a lesson with them, but they're
definitely worth a try.

 Highly Recommended

Tutors selected by Cafetalk based on a mix of reviews, response speed,
reliability and other performance factors.

◇New

Tutors who have signed up in the last 3 months. New tutors are usually
highly motivated and enthusiastic. Give them a chance and you might just
find a tutor perfect for you!

There are many more skilled and knowledgeable tutors on Cafetalk, so don't disregard them just because they don't have any medals or distinctions. It may be because they simply haven't done many lessons but they may still be very good. And conversely, just because a tutor comes highly recommended that doesn't necessarily mean she'd be perfect for you. To find a tutor to cater to your specific needs you can make use of our extensive search function.

And if you need some help or advice please don't hesitate to contact us.

How to make a request outside of tutor's available time?

Tutors are usually setting their "available times" for lessons.

It is possible to request a lesson from this "available times" which is green in the schedule table.

On the other hand, the system does allow students to make requests outside of a tutor's available times. This is because students may be doing so based on a prior agreement with the tutor.
For that case, please click "If you would like to set request times without using this scheduler click here" in the upper part of the page.

When the making screen of the request opens, click the calendar icon in the column of No.1 choice, and set the time.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

How to make your feedbacks for tutors?

In New Cafetalk, the review (evaluation) to the tutor can be easily done in each lessons.

We will wait for the input by all means because we can keep the tension of the lesson, and it is useful for other students looking for the tutors.

When the screen of the request list is opened, it is desplayed as 「Complete - No Feedback」 if the request of completed lessons that has not been evaluated yet.

Please click the request ID, and click the button "Feedback" that shines in the green.

In the feedback page, you can input three detailed items and comment in addition to the overall judgement.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
